Woodzy designs, manufactures, and sells rustic wood furniture and home decor. Our furniture is ethically-made with reclaimed materials sourced from old barns, homes, and other found, already-fallen wood. Our log furniture is the top-quality log furniture on the market, refined with an artist's attention to details that results in a rustic look with a luxurious feel. Located in the hills of the Ozark Mountains, we ship everywhere in the US.​

ABOUT OUR TEAM

Woodzy Shop is artist Robert R. Norman and his wife Suzanne. Robert has been designing and building rustic furniture for over twenty years. His log furniture designs demonstrate his understanding of both structural integrity and beauty.  He is a visual artist with a passion for painting and is known for his colorful depictions of fish, wildlife, and other natural themes. Robert is an educator and speaker on the subjects of art and furniture design, having taught classes at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art as well as the Eureka Springs School of the Arts.  In November of 2013, he was named Artist of the Year by the Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Suzanne began making rustic furniture when she met Robert in 2012.  In the woodshop, she primarily does the sanding and finishing work, but her special passion is creating unique pieces with resin and wood. Her background was far afield from woodworking and makes her a good fit as the office manager, doing the bookkeeping, emailing, website, etc. She has an M.A. in the History of Religions from UC Santa Barbara (2003) and was an administrator with the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville for seven years.
